Whiteley & Green’s equestrian roots have necessitated that our fabrics historically perform to a very high standard. Working hard out in the field, Whiteley & Green textiles must withstand all weathers, heavy wear and strenuous movement. Not only this, but they must also be comfortable, breathable and fit for their purpose.  

Even as Whiteley & Green becomes more and more prevalent in high fashion, we continue to invest in improving the performance of our cloths. Although our fabrics seem to be entirely traditional in look and feel, their appearance often belies the industry and innovation of our textiles technicians and designers.  

By experimenting with new fibre compositions – adding Lycra or metallic yarns, for instance – and special finishes, Whiteley & Green each season delivers a collection of fabrics that meets the increasingly exacting performance standards of fashion houses and equestrian wear specialists alike.
